This is just the beginning...

ByxWytch is an idea birthed from wanting to create a way for people to connect with spirituality in a way that feels intuitive and works for them, helping them navigate and build their own spiritual practice that resonates with them. It's not about telling people what they should do or believe, but empowering them towards what feels right for them.

Some people may want to tap into that experience, but aren't sure how to go about it or how to integrate it into their life.  It can be overwhelming for some, trying to adhere to other peoples idea of what is the "correct" way. The reality is, we are all individuals, having our own individual experience. Spirituality is something that is so personal and deep within us, so it doesn't make sense to have someone else decide it for you. How you choose to connect with your beliefs should be something that resonates with you. 

A candle is something simple, but powerful for many reasons. It provides light in darkness, marks moments of celebration, and depending on what you believe, can put energy in motion towards achieving alignment with your desires. You'll find a candle on an altar in a church, and see it used in a witch's ritual. Whatever you believe in, they are utilized in a way to signify intention and connection. 

Along with those candles, you'll often find symbols. As the candles are a conduit for energy and connection, so are those symbols. This is all because we as humans in the collective consciousness believe strongly in them, even if the personal belief may change from person to person. Sigils, seals, logos, etc. are all different images with the same purpose: to evoke an idea, thought, or feeling when someone sees it. It can influence your behavior (a brand logo that enforces trust in the product) and mindset (a protective symbol, like a cross, causing one to feel safe and protected). This is showing a cause and effect and the power of symbolism in our minds and lives. 

Combining the elements of intention, symbols, focus, and simplicity, the seals on ByxWytch candles are created. The seals are composed of symbols (such as planetary glyphs that are widely used in esoteric practice), colors, and words of intention. The purpose of putting them on a candle was to take something easy to use. All you have to do is light it, and allow time to focus on yourself and your intention. Putting focus towards what you want inherently is causing change because you're aligning your focus with what you desire.
